Images action: You can now use 1- and 8-bit image objects in PixelToy very much like the existing text objects, with transparency and behaviors. This allows you to create complicated effects previously impossible.
Move & Size As Group: With this item selected in your Windows menu, all PixelToy windows move together and adhere to the main window as it is resized.
Default Positions: Also in the Windows menu, forces all control windows to their default locations arrayed around the main window.
Replace dialogs: You can now save sets and color palettes over existing ones without deleting the old one first.
Sets file persistence: The currently open Sets file is now written to disk every time a change is made, in order to avoid losing data in the event of a system crash.
... Plus many other minor tweaks and fixes.
Important note:
PixelToy 2.2 uses a separate preferences file than that used by PixelToy 2.1, and the Sets file format has changed to allow for the new features. Sets files made with PixelToy 2.2 cannot be opened with previous versions of PixelToy. Sets files made with older versions of PixelToy will open in PixelToy 2.2, and if modified, will be saved in PixelToy 2.2's new format.
